Regular Price: $249

Your Daily Deal: $99

Class Date: Saturday, September 11, 2010. 8:30 – 12 noon or 1:00 – 4:30.

Wheels in Heels programs give participants the opportunity to “practice” life-saving car control skills, repeatedly, in their own cars and cars provided by our sponsor Mazda of Lakewood. This practice creates a sense of confidence and empowerment behind the wheel that ultimately helps participants avoid collisions and adverse situations with LIGHTNING FAST, second nature responses.

Denver Deal Driving Class

Taught by RACE CAR DRIVERS Denise Longwell and Christine Jerritts who know all too well what one extra second means – the difference between winning a race or ending up in a crash. Racing competitively since 2003 these women have earned titles like “Driver of the Year” and multiple National level race wins. Avoiding a car spinning in front of you at 100 mph on the race track requires the same skills that you can use on our everyday roads to save lives.

Have you ever been cajoled by a boyfriend or husband for the way you drive? Well, now you don’t have to worry about that, first we all know that we are better drivers… because we can get better insurance rates… Wheels in Heels has created a safe and fun environment for women to experiment with the extreme handling limits of their cars, to practice the skills necessary to avoid distracted and impaired drivers, as well as other obstacles on the roads.

This is your chance to show off, in a constructive way, unlike teenage (and middle-age!) boys, who routinely lock up their brakes, do donuts in parking lots, and squeal their tires around corners.

Testimonial:

“We all truly experienced the LIMITS OF OUR CARS!!!!! Now I get it. When do we as women EVER get the opportunity to practice braking as hard as possible, to practice braking through a turn, to practice swerving to avoid hitting someone? Learning how our vehicles responded to each of these maneuvers provided each of us SO MUCH KNOWLEDGE, which brings confidence behind the wheel, I feel like a much safer driver after the class” — July 2010 participant Dru S.
